Born from a family olive grove in Provvidenti, Campobasso — a small hilltop town in Southern Italy — Poba exists to make the world's most potent olive oil accessible as a daily health ritual.
The Beginning
After taking a trip to his family's heritage village, our founder Steven Golfi grew close to that side of the family and took an interest in the olive oil they were producing. Struck by its extraordinary quality — peppery, vibrant, and nothing like what you'd find on store shelves — he decided to look deeper into its health benefits.
What he discovered was eye-opening: most "extra virgin" oil has already degraded from light, heat, and time due to oxidation, poor logistics, and broken supply chains. We set out to solve this by designing a single-serve format sealed in UV-protected glass within hours of pressing — bringing you the freshest, most potent olive oil in the world.
